DESCRIPTION What inspired me to paint this oil on this beautiful view from the living room of an attic in Vilanova i la Geltrú, in Barcelona, was the intense light of the summer dawn that shines on the terrace and the floor of the living room and also the vine with their leaves and the shadows they cast on the fence. I chose oil to represent that intensity of sunlight and the shapes of the terrace and buildings, with their gray shadows, as well as the reflections of the doors.
