DESCRIPTION Fernán Pérez is a town within the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park belonging to the municipality of Níjar. In its surroundings there are several farmhouses that house all the typical elements of the old agrosilvopastoral complexes, such as eras, corrals, wells, norias, etc. The Cortijo El Cerrillo stands out for its special location, the complex of which stands on a small hill that dominates the surrounding farmland. What inspired me to paint this painting in black and white was that the state of neglect that the farmhouse suffers gives it a unique beauty, strengthened by the gray oil painting, it produced this beautiful work full of very soft details generated by lights and shadows.
