DESCRIPTION Another part of the area of the old church of Sant Pere de Ribes, Barcelona, inspired me to paint this ink on heavyweight paper. A cobbled path leads up to a house and a church surrounded by cypress trees and vines drawn in great detail. The performance of the wind is felt interacting with the vegetation. I chose fountain pen ink to add contrast and lots of floral detail to this drawing.
