DESCRIPTION What inspired me to paint this work was the clarity of this cloudy sky with the pita cutting it out, the “movement” of the pines and the prickly pear standing out like ships in a swell. It was a moment in the morning in Cabo de Gata, where the light is very intense. I want to convey the life that I see in the freshness of the humid and hot summer environment. I chose the best quality India ink on acrylic paper to achieve a wet and high contrast effect.
